Hard workin Woman!
Well i just talked with one of my best friends, who i haven't talked to in forever! well it's been a couple of weeks anyway but it seems like forever! hee heefor everyone that knows Leslie... SHE GOT THE JOB!!!! whoo hoo... :D i am soo excited/proud/nervous/scared for her! :0)
for the peoples that don't know her she is probably the hardest working person i know. She got on at Coloplast (medical supply sales) as a sales rep. she would drive all over KY and southern Indiana to hospitals and nursing homes and she was gone from home quite a bit! i mean being on the road is a MAJORITY of her time - craziness- but she is willing to do it. So she is busting her ass for a year or so, maybe less, at Coloplast Full time and going to school full time to finish her degree in business she is only 24 and has already been promoted in her company!!!! YAY
Her promotion will include moving to North Carolina and nice increase in pay! more money annually then me and mark probably make together (im sure), she will oversee the entire state of NC! AWESOME! i am sooo proud of her i can't even put in words. SO everyone WISH HER WELL and send prayers her way because she has to move DEC 1st! which is NOT that far away! :( this i am sad about BUT i don't really get to see her that often anyway as she is always so busy -we had to set it up that he had a once a month get together no matter what! well i guess it'll have to be like a once every 6 months or something heehee.
i remember when i first met her in like 1998 or something like that; she was a sweet girl, very talkitive, very hyper and very loud - intense... she was the girl friend of another one of our long time friends, so i HAD to be nice to her because if she was gonna be around for a while we had to be friendly to each other, right? lol so i was nice, i wasn't sure if i liked her or not because she was one of those "prissy" girls that i would not under normal circumstances hang out with... but we got to know each other and became friends pretty quickly... i think because she is or was soo much different than any of my other friends she had the most influence on me... i mean back then i was depressed, pretty much hated everything and everyONE, specially giddy people like her...BLECH, not really out going at all and would NOT just strick a convo with someone i don't know! but a couple of years with her made me a little more out going, alot more positive toward life and over all a happier person. :) thanks chic! i wish some of that "work drive" would have rubbed off... but nope, same ol' lazy manda here! hee hee BUT i have said it before and i'll say it again... our differences make us "special" because i don't have another friend (as close as we are) like her.. i mean my sister reminds me ALOT of her but that's my SIS i HAVE to be her friend, hee hee j/k
i wasn't the only one to learn a new outlook though, i think i taught her how to stand up for herself a little more... to be more "blunt" about things and how not to let people just run all over her! We have had our ups and downs and fallin outs... lol there are some pretty funny stories that we share together and some pretty SAD ones too. one that comes to mind is our VERY first apartment together with robyn and she was doing the dishes... all of the sudden i hear from the kitchen.... "CHIC!!!" "CHIC COM'ERE" so i run to see what the hell she was flippin about now get to the kitchen and the damn dishwasher is foaming like it had rabbies or somethign, heh heh, i was like omg! what'd you do... she said i was just washing the dishes turned it on and then it started making bubbles! hee hee turns out we were out of dish washing soap so she put the liquid soap in it.. HA HA HA THAT was pretty funny!
ANYHOW, i just wanted everyone to know how proud i am of my friend that has busted her ass harder than anyone i know... YOU GO GIRL! i love you, YOU BETTER COME HOME ALOT! ;) heh heh and i hope you will be happy in NC cause you deserve it! :)

Ahh, thats awesome! I'm so glad to hear she took it, she needs to follow her dreams, even if Steve-O doesn't understand, if he truley loves her, he'll come around. She does bust her ass, I've never met someone with the will to work that she has, not to sound cliche-y but her parents should be so proud of her and themselves. =)
A good Leslie story huh? hmmmm.... I remember getting WASTED with her at "my dads birthday party" lol and playing Asshole hehe. I remember her poor little bunnies, and that poor puppy she tried to get lol. I remember all kinds of stuff, too many to list. =) Anyway COngrats Leslie, you deserve it more than onyone else I know!
