Im SOOO pissed that i haven't been able to get my christmas decor up yet! DAMN! :( i wanted to get a new xmas tree this year because
1. WE FINALLY get to have one up this year!
2. the one we have is kinda ghetto and "broken"
see 2 years ago when we lived in the apartments at mallard we got a new kitten that year and he was BAAAAD!!!! during christmas time he would run and jump with ALLL four feet in position to ATTACK my tree! i had so many broken orniments and stuff that year... i was sooo upset cause alot of my orniments were gifts or they meant something to me... and not only that but he screwed my tree up soo bad it looks awful bent limbs and all that crazy stuff, i mean the damn thing wasn't FAB in the first place cause i think it came from the dollar store and you know the quality of those stores.... looked like a charlie browns christmas up in there. hee hee ;)
so LAST year we had this badd ass cat that we couldn't even have a christmas tree or any kind of house plant for that matter... and it's our very FIRST xmas in our NEW house.... Christmas SUCKED last year, a couple of days before, we got snow and ice and it pretty much put everyone out of commission and on CHRISTMAS to boot! nice huh? well even before we got that snow our cat decided he wanted to run away for christmas cause we didn't see him ever again. :( it was sad but i was like great all that crap over not having a TREE because of the cat and then a couple of days before the big day he runs away and now we have no tree up for christmas and no cat!!! LOL
ON TOP OF THAT: mark had to work all throughout christmas (snow removal), he missed every single family christmas party we had... ON BOTH SIDES of the family! ugh it sucked so bad! so anyway i am ready to make up for the crappy holiday season we had last year but im poor, (you can see that in my little survey below...) and i have to deal with this ghetto ass christmas tree.... HOWEVER

1. i have never thought about killing myself, i love my life too much to ever think about doing something like that, i mean even when i was in my depressed teenage years i never thought about it. i think killing your self is the most SELFISH thing that a person can ever do! im not THAT selfish because i have regard for other peoples feelings!
2. hmm... i dunno that's a tough one because if i dont' like a person they pretty much KNOW it.. i have a hard time keeping my feelings about a person a Secrete just from my body language and facial expressions... so YOU KNOW if i don't like you. i pretty much like everyone thats in my life as of now though.

Hard workin Woman!
Well i just talked with one of my best friends, who i haven't talked to in forever! well it's been a couple of weeks anyway but it seems like forever! hee heefor everyone that knows Leslie... SHE GOT THE JOB!!!! whoo hoo... :D i am soo excited/proud/nervous/scared for her! :0) for the peoples that don't know her she is probably the hardest working person i know. She got on at Coloplast (medical supply sales) as a sales rep. she would drive all over KY and southern Indiana to hospitals and nursing homes and she was gone from home quite a bit! i mean being on the road is a MAJORITY of her time - craziness- but she is willing to do it. So she is busting her ass for a year or so, maybe less, at Coloplast Full time and going to school full time to finish her degree in business she is only 24 and has already been promoted in her company!!!! YAY
Her promotion will include moving to North Carolina and nice increase in pay! more money annually then me and mark probably make together (im sure), she will oversee the entire state of NC! AWESOME! i am sooo proud of her i can't even put in words. SO everyone WISH HER WELL and send prayers her way because she has to move DEC 1st! which is NOT that far away! :( this i am sad about BUT i don't really get to see her that often anyway as she is always so busy -we had to set it up that he had a once a month get together no matter what! well i guess it'll have to be like a once every 6 months or something heehee.
i remember when i first met her in like 1998 or something like that; she was a sweet girl, very talkitive, very hyper and very loud - intense... she was the girl friend of another one of our long time friends, so i HAD to be nice to her because if she was gonna be around for a while we had to be friendly to each other, right? lol so i was nice, i wasn't sure if i liked her or not because she was one of those "prissy" girls that i would not under normal circumstances hang out with... but we got to know each other and became friends pretty quickly... i think because she is or was soo much different than any of my other friends she had the most influence on me... i mean back then i was depressed, pretty much hated everything and everyONE, specially giddy people like her...BLECH, not really out going at all and would NOT just strick a convo with someone i don't know! but a couple of years with her made me a little more out going, alot more positive toward life and over all a happier person. :) thanks chic! i wish some of that "work drive" would have rubbed off... but nope, same ol' lazy manda here! hee hee BUT i have said it before and i'll say it again... our differences make us "special" because i don't have another friend (as close as we are) like her.. i mean my sister reminds me ALOT of her but that's my SIS i HAVE to be her friend, hee hee j/k
i wasn't the only one to learn a new outlook though, i think i taught her how to stand up for herself a little more... to be more "blunt" about things and how not to let people just run all over her! We have had our ups and downs and fallin outs... lol there are some pretty funny stories that we share together and some pretty SAD ones too. one that comes to mind is our VERY first apartment together with robyn and she was doing the dishes... all of the sudden i hear from the kitchen.... "CHIC!!!" "CHIC COM'ERE" so i run to see what the hell she was flippin about now get to the kitchen and the damn dishwasher is foaming like it had rabbies or somethign, heh heh, i was like omg! what'd you do... she said i was just washing the dishes turned it on and then it started making bubbles! hee hee turns out we were out of dish washing soap so she put the liquid soap in it.. HA HA HA THAT was pretty funny!
ANYHOW, i just wanted everyone to know how proud i am of my friend that has busted her ass harder than anyone i know... YOU GO GIRL! i love you, YOU BETTER COME HOME ALOT! ;) heh heh and i hope you will be happy in NC cause you deserve it! :)

Family Man
So we went to see a long time friend of ours this weekend, that we don't get to see much anymore. Him and his fiance have been engaged for a while, not sure if they are still planning a wedding or what, with their on and off again thing it's hard to figure out, but i hope they work out. i know josh is pretty damn hard headed but everyone can be like that sometimes... 
it's hard to see these two so happy like they are in these pics and know that they really aren't together, or so we hear. but i don't know for real, really all i know is what josh tells us and there are two sides to every story. So anyway i just wanted to post some pics of josh's family cause i don't get to see him or the kids much. last time i seen rebecca and her little girl emily was 2 years ago at mine and marks wedding... since- they have had a child together and emily is 4 years old now and SOOO smart, she likes being a helper for her mom with her new little sister Gracie who is just too cute! :) They are great parents though, i mean rebecca has always struck me as being a good mom she is a little over protective but i guess that's ok. :) and josh is great with emily, always has been, treats her like his own and i just think that is SOOO SWEET! it takes a hell of a person to take "someone elses" child and treat them no different than your own! Now if he would just stick around! ;) A~

Im still NEW to all this stuff... so if you have anything to share about it.. please do so! i tried to meditate for the first time this morning... it was relaxing and refreshing. i was sooo tired cause i woke up early to do it cause im sure it's easier to do that when your significant other isn't around. can't clear your mind with someone rushing around getting ready for work, right? but when i was done.. i felt better... and AWAKE! :) hee hee it's interesting... so i think maybe i'll look into it more! 
yesterday i went to lunch with mom and her friend stacy and her brand new 2 month old baby! you should have seen my mother holdin this baby, i mean the picture says enough, you can see the little smile in her face.. yea, she couldn't STOP smiling.. lol that baby was ADORABLE and soo tiny, (I LOVE BABIES) but it was SICK! lol just down right gross how she was acting... ;)but my mom isn't pushy like some other moms are, she is still like WAIT till the time is right for you all, just don't wait as long as my and pat did. im like dude if we wait till the "perfect" time to have a child, we'll never have one. i know what she is saying though, my parents had my lil brother when i was 17! yep started ALL OVER when they just about had me out of the house. But i do want a baby and the thought has been happening more and more here lately, i guess that's what happens when you GET OLD! i was showin mark the pics of her and he was like is that what you want? i was like WHAT? a baby? and he said yeah... i was like um... i don't know that im ready to give up my freedom yet! hee hee i do know that it's alot easier to say i want a baby when your near a baby or holding one or something but what about when your with parents of teenagers and they are talking about their kid like they are little demons... lol THAT im not ready for! like marks little 13 year old cousin who just recently had a 2 night outting... told her mom that she was staying with dad... told her dad that she was staying with mom...stayed with a bunch of different people, i mean DAMN it's THAT easy huh? *shaking head* im SOOO not ready for that! Oh and the HIGHLIGHT of my lunch with mom... on the way back i got introuble for staying out 30 mins later than i should have. mom said "he knows your with me, don't worry about it." I KNEW he was going to act like he did, owell. YIPPIE for getting introuble!my dad is a freaking goober... it's so hard sometimes to work with a BUNCH of guys... not one single other female is here now with terri gone...but she is kinda "butch" anyway so she didn't count... and well theres Staciey but she's a HE and they don't mess with him....er HER! IM the one the pick on all the time and it's worse now that mark doesn't work here they think im "fresh meat" or whatever but what they don't know is that im JUST as bad as they are! :) hee hee i have made a few LUDE comments myself some of which i can't post here due to some of my readers being family... but anyway my father (you all wonder where i get it from) put a damn static sticker on my car, god only knows how long it was there before someone noticed it... cause it's on my left BACK window and the head rest to the seat is right in the way, so i didn't even know it was there... but it says "my other ride is YOUR MOM" nice huh? im sure that's nice to look at when im droppin off or picking the kids up from school.. or maybe that im the DAMN cheerleading coach of a CATHOLIC school...lol think the mothers and fathers of the girls i coach will appreciate that? hee hee i could tell them that a PARENT did it... tee hee ;) but whatever it's all in the sense of humor you have and I FOR ONE HAVE ONE! thank you. i have ALWAYS loved a good your momma joke too :) that was my slogan for a while.. anything and everything was YOUR MOMMA! :) ANYHOW, i just wanted to let you all know that my dad is GOOBER - it runs in the family!

So big whoop, fall is here... i HATE cold weather but for now it's not been that cold.. rather the opposite! it's like 70 degrees here today and that is NOT normal! all it's doing is helpin people STAY sick!!! :( my poor friends anthony and christy have been sick for about a MONTH now! hee hee j/k.
lol so i told yous guys (for my northen peeps) that i was gonna get some FALL pics so when me and mark went to josh and deenas this past weekend to help with carrying a table and chairs up the stairs to their apartment i seen that there was this area that had ALOT of leaves. I had told 
Mark that i wanted to get some good "FALL" pics this weekend since almost all the trees have changed around here... so we went in the leaves that were probably a good foot and a half deep and played in them like it was snow! LOL we are stupid i know... but hell! it was a good way to pass the time as we sat and waited for josh and deena to come home. we know how to entertain ourselves pretty good, if i do say so myself! tee hee :) so here are my fall pics! :)

So last friday was the night that josh wanted to go out with just the guys.. so my hunny was gone all night and i chose to stay home cause i wasn't in a "going out" mood... i think im pretty well burnt out on the whole "club" scene...so i stayed home (lookin a hott mess) and played with my camera and did a little scrapbooking... so this and a few of the pic below are the product of a VERY bored housewife with nothing better to do! hee hee :)
My mother in laws burfday is monday so we are doing it up right this weekend! the leaves are turning around here so im hoping to get some nice pics of the the leaves and the beautiful colors...... well im being KICKED off the internet...as my mom is at home for the next 2 weeks...we'll be fighten over it! :)

Halloween night we usually stay at home so that we can give out candy to our neighborhood hoodlums! But this year since robyn and sean are leaving us we decided that we should prolly spend this year at their house...
So after cheerleading practice i went to robyns and sat there until it was TIME! the durkin household are a bunch of freaks... they LOOOOVE them some halloween! hee hee
So to left here is mik who was a care bare.. Harmony bear i think it was... CUTE huh? hee hee this is a funny pic cause usually when i take a picture of her i always make that stupid cheerleader face at her to let her know she should be smiling... you know eyebrow up high, eyes wide and mouth in an open smile? yea that's what i was doin and she was mocking me.. The next pic i thought was cool cause marks mask is kinda "glowing" and so is the net that is wrapped around hunters head and shoulders... just thought it was a cool little pic. and so was this last one..... Linzy and her friend Emilee were "dancing" in the strobe light so i had a take a picture of it... it turned out better than i thought it would have.. YAY!
So anyhow, that was my halloween...
we had fun! i was thinking thought that night that trick or treating has become sooooo DIFFERENT from when we were little... i mean i can hardly think of a halloween were my MOM or somebody went WITH me! Linzy wasn't even allowed to cross the street.. i mean sure she had a 3 year old with her but she is 15 im pretty sure she knows how to look both ways... and then OMG! the first couple of kids to robyns door didn't even have on any kind of costume... unless "thug" was the selection...which i guess could have been it... but it was like regular dressed kids in some sweat shirts and jeans.. *shaking head* it was the OLDER kids that were like 16 or something dressed up!
one of robyns neighbors kids had on regular clothes but taped to her jeans were smarties... i was like COOL pants and she said yeah, im a "smarty pants!" HA HA HA how freaking cute!!! i should have taken a picture of it, you guys would have thought the same.. HOW CUTE! :)
anyway other thing that is just flippin LAZY! is the parents not wanting to the kids to go alone but the dont' want to WALK with them either?!?!!? what is up with that!?!??!??! Take your ass and walk around with your child it's not that HARD and i bet a little movement would hurt you at all.. if yo know what i mean! i don't know maybe it's just me... or MEAN! lol but i came up with candy giving rules monday night because of this..
if you had no costume or rolled up in a car... you only get ONE peice of candy
if you had a costume BUT you just walked up to me and put your bag out.. like "What are you going to do about it?" then you only get TWO peices of candy... to get a handfull you HAVE to have a costume and Walked to get there AND say the FREAKIN magic words... TRICK OR TREAT!!
or if they were really scared of the yard decore and mark and sean then i'd give a handful too cause it was funny and WORTH that handful of candy! TEE HEE im BAD!
I think my fav. part about halloween when i was younger was the fact that i got to stay out past dark... better yet, i got to stay out LATE! which was VERY rare with my grandma!

Saturday night we went to a party of a high school friend of ours... it was pretty fun - a bunch of people we haven't seen in YEARS and of course DRESSED up... It was like a FAIRDALE HIGH SCHOOL REUNION up in there!

He let mark use his micheal meyers mask for halloween... :) isn't that nice? well before the party we were pretty hungery - well I was pretty hungery so he stopped at wendys to get me some food. while we were in line waiting i seen that there was a GIRL in the window to take our money so i was like PUT YOUR MASK ON... so you can freak her out.. hee hee and he was like NO.. so we pulled up and bit and then he decided yeah that'd be fun. so he puts his mask on....
when we get to the window, i guess they were switchin up cause the girl went to the other window and there was a dude at the first window now... DAMN!
so i tell him to keep it on cause it'll be funny to see her reaction. so she comes to the window like normal she sticks her hand out to give us our food then pulls it back real quick and her face went completely STRAIGHT! lol it was sooo funny, specially when she yelled out.. OH MY GAWD!!!! lol she backed up and started doing that nervous laugh... she was so freaked out that she had to put her head on the counter for a second to regain her composer! HA HA HA then she came back to the window with tears in her eyes as everyone in the back came up front to check out what the hell was going on... lol it was funny as hell! ;)
