Exciterated!
Whoo hoo.. I just can't wait! Memorial weekend we have our annual camping trip where me and my childhood friends go out into the woods of Red River Gorge and pitch a tent...ROUGHIN it. This year is gonna be like no other though because we all get to leave to go down at the same time.... MARK is usually the one with a screwed up job that keeps him from the fun at least by a day or so... And I being his WIFE have to endure the same CRAP even if my job was more understanding. I am actually takin a dent in the wallet to go this year cause we have that stupid day before or after rule for holidays... If you don't work day before or after you don't get paid for the holiday. Which shouldn't APPLY because it's an advanced notice!!!! But I guess they don't see it MY way... FUCKERS!hopefully my best friends mom is gonna be ok. She has cancer and they may end up scheduling surgery for that day that we are suppose to leave. My prayers are with her. :(
last year on our annual campin trip it rained and rained and rained and we got flooded out of our spot but we were so determined to CAMP that we stayed and then we ended up getting flooded to where the roads were washed over and there were mud slides closing roads and even parts of the place where the road just FELL off! Trees were down and it was a crazy storm but our tents did AWESOME and you wouldn't even had know that the wind was blowing like it was until you seen the EVIDENCE! There was even an unconfirmed tornado that night... TWAS CRAZY!
anyway... We leave in ONE WEEK FROM TODAY... YAY!
I have scrapbooking tomorrow night. Hopefully I'll actually do something while there. LOL I always go and usually I don't have anything in mind to work on. And then I'll just get so involved in what other people are doing or end up just HELPING everyone else around me come up with really cute ideas. The lady that I work with, her daughter is graduating high school next week so I think I'm gonna work on a card for her. I have been getting into card making... It's so much fun cause it means WAY more to the person than one that is just bought from a store! ;) LOVE it. I got some practice for mothers day... Me and my sister made one for my mom and her mom and then I made one from just me and mark for my mom and then I made one for grandma bobbi from us grandkids... Pretty cute.
I made a card for kk (my husbands mom) and she was like WOW that's good... That's like a $10.00 card. ;) aww (she is always thinking in MONEY terms)!
so I took the compliment!
me and mark talked about it and decided we could start our own business doing that... He can make up the poems and sayings (cause he is good at that) and I can design the card around it. ;) woo hoo we can be called "ARMS designs", Motto: "Two Arms that care!" hee hee or LOVING ARMS PRODUCTS hee hee gotta love our last name! :)
well I must be getting to work or something....
