WTF? its a Kentucky Flat Back
LOL I just went to wal-mart for some company supplies and when me and mark were on the way out we seen this girl.. she was pretty but she looked like she was fake cause she had this “tan” and her eye brows were drawn on and lined lips and YOU KNOW the type… but she was pretty, not taking that away from her… hee hee but I told mark wow she looks fake and mark was like yep looks like a doll and I was like yea one of those BRATZ dolls…. LOL bout that time she passes us up and we both turn back to check her out and she was wear these very unflattering pants. i just turned around with out a remark but mark was like OH NO!!! it’s a KENTUCKY FLAT BACK! HA HA HA HA I cracked up! That was the best laugh I have had all WEEK long!!!! Lol so im totally gonna use that on my sister next time she wears something that makes her ass look like a pancake! ::::evil grins:::::Speaking of my sis, :::: shaking head :::: ya’ll wont believe this lol or maybe you WILL if you know her. First of all you have to know that she is a big fat weirdo.. she has to have her reese cups WARM… hee hee so she put the little bit size kind in the microwave to warm them up a little, well I guess she hasn’t had that part in science class about the reaction of aluminum foil in the microwave yet… she said "I was like OMG red, blue and green sparks were shootin out of em!" She was freaking out and standing about 3 ft from the microwave reaching as far as she could to push the button to open the door and stop the heat.. her reenactment was pretty funny so I can only imagine what the real thing looked like… TEE HEE
So here lately I have been inspired by my friends that have gone back to school… i.e. Leslie, Robyn, Deena, Anthony and Christy. Props to my peeps! ;)
So I started checkin out the possibilities of going back to school, I mean not actually GOING cause I don’t have TIME for that, but you know the online schooling and the likes.
So I have been thinking what would I want to go back for? There is really nothing that college can offer me that I would be willing to spend a bazillion dollars for and LOVE… so I gave the idea up for a minute cause That’s the exact reason I quit college in the first place, I couldn’t figure out what I wanted to do with my life and i didn't want to be a professional student and waste everyones money. So i dropped. I still have no clue really I just want to be HAPPY, and I am happy but I want to see if I can make some money doing something that I love… what do i love? hmmm mark? yea college degree in markyology? hee hee
And then like a flip of a SWITCH a light bulb came on and I was like I want to go to PHOTOGRAPHY school… So I went, on the internet of COURSE, to look up so info, like is there any school here in KY that offers classes in photography and that was a big fat NO! I think the closest school that offered it as an actual major was in OH or something but I kept searching and found a couple that sounded pretty good. So I sent out for information for two of the most ‘promising’ schools on the coasts… the art institute in Cali and the New york institute of photography (founded in 1910).
I got my info from the school in CA last week and it was HEART BREAKING! :( I was reading all the info and it sounded great but when I got to the tuition it was $550.00 per credit hour and each photo class was 3 credit hours!!!! That’s $1,650 just for ONE CLASS…. ONE CLASS and that’s not even counting the “extra class expenses” that were between 90 to 125! So I was just figuring it up and for me to take INTRO to photography and a perspective class it would be around 3200 for just two classes and there were about 15 before I could get in to the graduate classes… UGH! Soo depressing! I was like OMG… I guess NEVER MIND! Cause I couldn’t get enough grants or financial aid to help with the cost I was gonna have… it was a total let down… something that I thought I could do just ended up being further out of reach than anything I have ever dreamt before.
But a little glimps of hope came when the NYIP sent their info it’s more of a do it your self program, it’s not online at all and they have a really unique program from the other schools I looked at. They have 31 courses in all you pay a one time tuition of 998 OR you can pay in payments of $35.00 a month they give you 3 years to complete all the courses and you can withdrawal within the first 60 days (I think) and get a full refund! But they send you all the material with contact information about your student advisor and professors. So basically you do the course at your own pace and you do the photo projects have them printed or develop them yourself and then send it to your instructor (professional photographer). Then they audio record a critique of your work send it back to you. They also have dvd instructor discs so you can see how a professional would do what ever the course is pertaining to… so needless to say I am much more excited about this one than the other… cause it’s feasible! So I think im gonna do it… if I don’t achieve anything other than BETTER photos for my scrapbooks. ; ) heh heh. I asked mark what he thought and of course he was supportive about it but the only thing he said was to make sure that it’s a legit school and not a scam… so do any of you have any knowledge of the NYIP?? Stephen, maybe you need some glasses? tuition is pretty pricey and ironic that ALOT of people that go to college and get degrees dont even end up using them! why spend the money and not even USE it? that's why i dropped... but i wanna go back! oh and stephen your profile pic changes with your underwear but i like this one...its HOTT! :)
